Truck Ordered Not Used
There will be occasions when you show up to pick up a load only to find that, for whatever reason, the load is no good. Regardless of the reason (other than a failure on our part), the agent can (but is not necessarily required to) issue a “Truck Ordered Not Used” (TONU). A TONU does not pay all that much. It certainly will not cover the cost of lost revenue, but it is better than nothing. It’s usually $150-200.
In order to be paid a TONU, we must provide some paperwork (Remember: If it ain’t wrote down, it didn’t happen.) You will need to fill out a BLANK LANDSTAR BILL OF LADING (click on the button below to download one) and scan it into Landstar through Transflo with the Truck, Trailer, and Trip just like any other load.
